Fort McMurray Cabins, Chalets & Cottages

Located 75 air miles northwest of Fort McMurray and is inaccessible except by float plane during the summer and by tracked vehicle during the winter. The log cabins accommodate from 3 to 7 people and are fully equipped with propane cooking stoves, refrigerators, electric lights, dishes, utensils, wood burning stoves, wood supply and twin bunks or double size beds. Hot showers and flush toilets are located in a central facility.

Located 243km North of Fort McMurray near Lake Athabasca. There is a cabin located on most of the 10 lakes serviced. The rustic 16' x 20' light housekeeping cabins with a kitchen and living area can accommodate sleeping arrangements for six and have a large screened porch area.

Island Lake Lodge is located 120 km (75 mi) by air northwest of Fort McMurray, Alberta (Northern Canada) in the sub-Arctic region of the Birch Mountains and is accessible only by air. There are four cabins of natural log construction, heated and equipped with electricity, propane refrigerator, built-in double bunks, cutlery, pots, pans, dishes, 4-burner propane stove with oven and grill, wood stove, propane BBQ, table and chairs, dish towels and dish soap and running water.
